Killeavy Castle Estate

Revisited this hotel again, this time for our anniversary, as we had a fantastic experience the on the last visit. The location is perfect especially at this time of year with all the autumn colours. The room was on the lower floor as we requested a quiet room and this didn’t disappoint. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything in it including mini bar (extra charge), robes, hair dryer, coffee machine. The staff were again were very professional in looking after us. They are young but have obviously been very well trained and this shows. The evening meal was delicious and served in the bar as there was a murder mystery night on in the castle and it was very busy. Due to this it was a bit noisy and not the relaxing atmosphere we are used to but it didn’t take away from the quality of the food. Again, the staff were very attentive but not in your face. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of cooked, cereals, fruit and a choice of yoghurt and bread. Check was a breeze. We will definitely be back and have recommended it friends and family. Our son and his partner stayed the following week and thoroughly enjoyed their experience also.

A fantastic hotel. Excellent food, especially vegetarian. Nice size and well laid out rooms, and facilities. Top class staff. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless. Very scenic location.

We had a wonderful stay there. Staff was very friendly, the room was very comfortable, spa was so relaxing and restaurant was very good too. The walk around the hotel is SO beautiful. South Armagh is one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland and deserves more recognition.

We we're here for dinner in the restaurant. Both my wife and I had the monk fish. Whoa.... absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals we have ever had. The taste and flavour of the food was amazing and the presentation was perfection. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is really beautiful. An amazing old castle that has been beautifully restored overlooks the restaurant and bar. Highly recommended.

I've been here many times for functions, the spa and dozens of times for dinner. Absolutely beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. Just this past weekend we came to the restaurant which has recently been refurbished and the food was absolutely amazing. We both had the monkfish and it was 10/10 Brilliant hotel.and lovely staff

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Blissful Spa Experience at Killeavy Castle I recently enjoyed a spa treatment at Killeavy Castle, and it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere is serene and luxurious — the perfect escape from the everyday world. My therapist, Andrea, was simply outstanding. She was warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Her attention to detail and intuitive touch made the entire experience deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. It was clear she genuinely cared about creating a treatment tailored to my needs. Every part of the spa — from the tranquil surroundings to the soothing scents and beautiful facilities — added to the sense of calm. I left feeling refreshed, balanced, and truly pampered. I can’t recommend Killeavy Castle Spa (and Andrea in particular) highly enough. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Wonderful little break! Right beside slieve gullion and the beautiful walks available there. The spa is quite small with more or less a single lane swimming pool and plunge pool with jacuzzi outside, but only takes a maximum of 14 people, so make sure you reserve ahead. Rooms are lovely and often have a view, and the food in the restaurant is just fantastic. The beef is especially excellent here So make sure you eat in the restaurant! Staff all friendly and the wine selection is excellent.
